Stockholm-based AI-driven software testing startup, QA.tech, has successfully raised €3 million in a seed funding round to expand its team and further enhance its product. This round was led by PROfounders, with additional participation from Curiosity VC and byFounders.
- Founded in 2023 by Patrick Lef, Daniel Mauno Pettersson, Vilhelm von Ehrenheim, and Marcus Carloni, QA.tech offers an AI-powered testing tool designed for SaaS services and applications. The startup aims to boost engineers’ productivity by automating application testing, delivering rapid feedback, reducing bugs, improving quality, and speeding up time to market.
- QA.tech, currently employing a team of 11, serves around 40 companies, including Leya, Upsales, Virtusize, and Shoplab. In 2023, the startup raised $1 million in a pre-seed round to launch its beta program and grow its developer team, supported by byFounders and various angel investors.
Details of the deal
- The latest funding round, led by the British venture capital firm PROfounders, which focuses on European tech startups, also saw contributions from Amsterdam-based Curiosity VC, Danish VC byFounders, and several angel investors, including Jon Aslund, an early developer at Spotify, and Jens Saltin, former UK country manager at Klarna.
